The Beatles Please Please Me. MONO 3/4 pressing ?
3 or 4th pressing as they were both being pressed at the same time in the pressing plant….last 33 1/3 on yellow and black label and the first label without…
Played today 22/3/25 for the first time in over 30+ years,just kept it stored in a plastic sleeve.
Parlophone 1963…yellow and black labels…
PMC 1202….estimated only 25.000 pressed….
Side one….XEX 421-1N…1RA
SIDE two..XEX-422-1N…1&2…GL….UNUSUAL TO HAVE Two NUMBERS AT 9 p clock…..last three photos show this number…
VINYL has a super shine to it and has some surface marks
Label nice and clean….see photos…..hardly any spindle wear……
Play tested …….
I played the album twice as wasn’t sure if I saw her standing there skipped on the I…it does for 1 revolution.(breath and you miss it.)
Some noise back end of Anna and beginning of chains…
Plays through with no probs….
Ever so quiet between tracks and run out grove
Maybe a cleaning on one of those cleaning machines would enhance the vinyl even more….
Could be your final upgrade copy…….
Sleeve…..
Has two signatures on it
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr..
but even with a certificate of authenticity I doubt that they are genuine..but maybe.?.so let’s say not genuine….
Sleeve (see photos nice and clean with lettering on the excellent spine
Corners of the sleeve are a little scuffed and has a little faint foxing….see photo…..

Quite a decent sleeve ,no writing tears etc…
Inner sleeve is original and in lovely condition……I will put the record in another inner so as to preserve the original one..
