Description
This is an original 1963 first pressing of The Beatles' "Please Please Me" LP vinyl record. The vinyl is black and gold labelled, and the record grading is only fair while the sleeve grading is also only fair. The Emitec sleeve has staining and a 3 or 4 inch split and graded good.
The album is a must-have for any Beatles collector. However given the condition of the record and the sleeve it would suit a beginner wishing to have their first copy for their collection/ perhaps to frame the vinyl to display side 2 which is the better of the two albeit still with a number of light scratches. Side 1 could not be displayed as it again has light scratches but also a feelable scratch running across most tracks. The front cover alternatively could be framed.
I have considered using another spare cover to try to repair this one bit someone else might have the time and skills to do that. Half the bottom Edge flip Back is torn and a quarter is missing. There is also some damage to the bottom And top rear corners of the sleeve as shown in the photos.
As the vinyl is scratched it has not been play tested. I only usually sell very good plus Beatles albums but this one came with a job lot of albums I bought and so I will Sell at a very realistic price given the condition.
Free postage as usual for buyers in the UK with next day secure delivery.
