FOR SALE The Beatles Please Please Me LP (1st Pressing Black & Gold, Dick James Credit) Catalogue Number: PMC 1202 Matrix Side 1: XEX 421-1N Matrix Side 2: XEX 422-1N The Cover The Front of the cover is in Very Good condition retaining clean edges and some light corner wear and light wear to the opening edge. The spine is in Fair condition with a split through the writing. The back of the cover is in Fair condition retaining a nice white but sellotape stain and the bottom left flip back has come away from the edge to the centre. This is the correct 1st cover with the P lined up with the S and Photo Angus McBean is right in the bottom far right side. The Inner Sleeve The inner sleeve is the original Emitex inner sleeve which is in Very Good condition with no rips or graffiti and no fading or marks a real nice example. The Centre Labels The centre label on side 1 is in Poor condition with spindle wear and and some surface scratches. The centre label on side 2 is in Fair condition with spindle wear to the centre and the writing is more visible then side 1 and some wear around the edge of the label. The Vinyl The vinyl on side 1 is in Poor condition under a electric light with lots of marks on the surface some feelable and visible marks, at the run in there is quite a bit of background noise until i saw her standing there starts and some crackle through misery, crackle and clicks through anna, chains has a few pops through it and jumps a few times, Boys has crackle through the track and jumps a few times due to a mark, ask me why has a jump at the start and a few pops, please pleas me plays through with some crackle and a few pops. The Vinyl on side 2 has some minimal crackle on the run in groove and Love me do plays through with minimal background noise, P.S. I Love You plays through with minimal background noise, Baby It's You plays through with minimal background noise, Do You Want To Know A Secret plays through with just light minimal background noise, A taste of Honey plays through with minimal background noise, There's A Place plays through with minimla background noise and a click at the end and Twist and shout plays through with extremely minimal background noise.
