Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
- The Seller relates how imports were expensive and hard to come by in the US in the sixties. It was costly and time consuming to get them through customs. Original UK releases like this were highly coveted in the US because of the track listings, sound quality and heavy vinyl.
- I have been able to date the pressing of this copy to 1970.
- The matrix is YEX 95/96-1.
- Seller acquired this pressing of the Stereo version in his store in 1970.
- It appears from the one spindle mark on each side that this copy has been played at least once.
- This record is on the aforementioned heavy vinyl.
- The flimsy, laminated cover has tight seams and very little sign of wear.
- Seller immediately put this into storage and here it is 45 years later.
