This is an ORIGINAL 1963 UK 5th pressing mono Vinyl LP for The Beatles FIRST UK Album ‘PLEASE PLEASE ME’.
The album is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Recording First Published 1963’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
Both record labels are in Excellent condition, clean record labels, showing just a few light centre spindle lines, and a little wear to the centre spindle holes.
Official side 1 matrix is XEX 421-1N/Side XEX 422-1N.
And the Side 1machine stampers are, 10 RRR, & Side 2 are, 6 RRH.
There is a KT Tax Code visible on the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in Excellent condition, the heavy vinyl disc is a fine example, with only a few non- sounding surface hairlines, there are NO deep scratches or scuffs to either side.
The album comes in its ORIGINALpoly lined Use Emitex Lined Printed Bag which is in Excellent condition, no seam splits, just light creases.
And is housed in it’s original Ernest J. Day picture sleeve in Excellent Minus condition, the front panel still retains it’s gloss shine, the reverse panel is clean and bright with only mild handling marks, and small damage to the bottom flip back, and a small paper loss area at the top right corner, and a small hand written name in the top left corner, the spine edge and the two other edges are undamaged and the print clearly legible.
The album plays really well with NO skips or clicks, a clear mono sound quality, and very quiet between tracks.
This is a respectable example of an original 1963 5th pressing LP, for the Beatles UK debut album, now nearly 50 years since it’s original release back in 1963.
