PAUL McCARTNEY AND WINGS; ‘WINGS WILD LIFE’ 1ST WINGS LP, ONE & ONLY WINGS ALBUM CREDITED TO APPLE!- AN ORIGINAL 1971 UK FIRST ISSUE VINYL APPLE RECORDS LP –Cat No, PCS 7142.
Wild Life’ was the first Wings Album release and the one and only Wings Album to be credited to Apple Records. The album was released by EMI/APPLE Records UK on 7th December 1971. Most of the tracks (there aren't many) were recorded in the first week of August 1971, and most were finalized in one take.
This first issue UK EMI/Apple Records Vinyl LP, contains just eight tracks, and is on the Custom Picture Label, with 'Mfd in UK', 'An Apple Record' and 'An EMI Recording' printed to both sides of the labels.
Both Record labels are in Mint condition, beautiful clean record labels, showing a couple of signs of play to each label.
The side 1 matrix YEX 871-11, and Side 2 matrix YEX 872-1.
Side 1 stampers: 1 G G and Side 2 stampers:5 A H.
Both sides of the heavy quality LP are in ImmaculateMint Minus condition, no scratches or scuffs and just a couple of hairlines, and both sides of the LP play beautifully without faults.
The LP comes in its originalbright yellow inner bag which is in Excellent Plus condition, with no splits or tears.
And is protected in its original First Issue heavy duty Card Picture Sleeve
The sleeve is in superb Excellent Plus Plus condition, a clean undamaged sleeve, with just light handling signs to the reverse.
A superb example of this FIRST ISSUE UK Apple Records Wings album.
