**UNPLAYED** MINT RECORD, MINT LABELS, EXCELLENT SLEEVE, SCARCE **FIRST** WINGS ALBUM, AND THE ONE AND ONLY UK WINGS ALBUM TO BE CREDITED AS AN APPLE RECORD!
‘WINGS WILD LIFE’ was released by EMI/APPLE Records UK on 7 December 1971. Most of the tracks (there aren't many) were recorded in the first week of August 1971, and most were finalised in one take.
This first issue genuine Factory Sample UK EMI/Apple Vinyl LP, contains just eight tracks, and is on the Custom Picture Label, with 'Mfd in UK', 'An Apple Record' and 'An EMI Recording' printed to both sides of the record labels. The side 1 record label has a white with red print Factory Sample sticker.
Both Record labels are in super preserved Mint condition, showing no marks to either label, both labels are as new.
The side 1 matrix YEX 871-11, and Side 2 matrix YEX 872-1.
Side 1 stampers: 5 PL and Side 2 stampers:5 HA.
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in superb UNPLAYED Mint condition. The Vinyl surfaces are as new.
The album comes in its ORIGINAL Bright Yellow Paper Inner Record Bag, which is a nice example inExcellent condition, no seam splits or tears, just light creasing and age toning.
…And is protected in its original First Issue heavy duty Card Picture Sleeve.
The sleeve is in overall very nice Excellent condition, a clean firm undamaged sleeve that shows light handling signs to the reverse panel. There are mild corner bumps, all edges, and spine edge are undamaged, and the wording ‘Wings Wild Life PCS 7142’ clearly printed – a very nice example.
