The Family Way is a 1966 British comedy-drama film based on Bill Naughton's play All in Good Time (1963). It began life in 1961 as a television play, Honeymoon Postponed. The film was produced and directed by John and Roy Boulting, respectively, and starred father and daughter John Mills and Hayley Mills. The premiere of the film was in London on 18 December 1966. The Family Way Soundtrack was scored by Paul McCartney, who was still a Beatle at the time, and producer George Martin.
This Original 1967 UK **1st Issue** Soundtrack Recording from the Boulting Brothers' Film production of 'The Family Way', was Paul's first opportunity to compose film music.
Both record labels are in immaculate Mint Minus condition, both labels are undamaged and show only signs of one play on each label.
Both sides of the vinyl LP are in stunning Mint Minus condition, simply beautiful clean, bright and unmarked vinyl surfaces to both sides.
The LP comes in it’s original poly lined inner bag and is housed in it’s original Picture Sleeve with the front panel in very nice Excellent condition, and a Very Good Plus back panel with light age toning and 130 B written in felt tip pen, all edges and the spine edge are free from splits.
An official Decca Records LP, in respectable condition, with all music composed by Paul McCartney.
