The Vinyl’s I am selling will be Play Tested (unless otherwise stated) and I will give a full and honest account of any issues or defects with the item, this will be subjective as everyone has their own opinions as to the grading of a Record but I will be as accurate as I can and should you require any clarification as to the quality or any other aspect, I will be happy to answer your query. I will also give a description of the quality of the cover and any picture sleeve, poster or booklet that comes with the record as I know this is important to record collectors. I will show as many pictures as I can in order that you can make an informed decision as to the quality of the record and cover. If the item is damaged, faulty or does not match my listing description I will give a full refund providing this is within 14 days. The records will be carefully packaged in a correct LP cardboard mailer with sufficient protection in order the item will not be damaged. All my pictures are taken from the item I am selling and not generic pictures taken from the Internet. Album Description and Information

The Beatles – 1 12-inch 180gram Gatefold 2 x Vinyl, LP, Compilation on Apple Records – 0602547567901 from 2015.

Going by the Matrix Numbers this looks like it is a Variant 3 of this 2015 issue.

1 is a greatest hits album of the British rock band the Beatles, originally released on 13 November 2000. The album features virtually every number one single the band achieved in the United Kingdom or United States from 1962 to 1970. Issued on the 30th anniversary of the band's break-up, it was their first compilation album available on only one CD. 1 was a commercial success and topped charts worldwide. It has sold over 31 million copies. Since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking US album sales in January 1991, 1 is the fourth best-selling album in the US, the best-selling album of the 2000s decade in the US, as well as the best-selling album of the decade worldwide.

1 was remastered and reissued in September 2011. It was remixed and reissued again in several different deluxe editions in November 2015, the most comprehensive of which is a three-disc set entitled 1+, which includes video discs of Beatles promotional films. As of June 2015, 1 was the sixth best-selling album of the 21st century in the UK, having sold over 3.1 million copies.

1 is the last Beatles album released during George Harrison's lifetime, as he died on 29 November 2001, just over one year after 1 was released.

Vinyl Condition

The Vinyl’s are in in Excellent condition but there are a couple of issues which I will explain. Side One: looks and plays Perfect. Side Two: plays perfect but on track 1 (Day Tripper) there is a surface shading mark in a rainbow pattern which is about three inches in length, this does not affect the audio, I think this was done in the manufacturing process. Side Three: has a feelable skate mark which covers tracks One and Two (Penny Lane and All you need is love) This causes a few light ticks but nothing intrusive, I will show this skate mark in one of my Pictures. Side Four: Plays Perfect but there is a small surface shading mark this is approximately Half an inch similar to Side Two but much smaller again no effect on the Audio. This is an Amazing Album by the greatest Rock Band of all time in my opinion; there are some amazing songs on this Album a great listen!!

Cover Condition

The Cover is in Excellent Condition only flaw is crease on the front left-hand side about an inch which extends to the spine which I will highlight in one of my pictures.

Cover Grading:  EXCELLENT +

GRADING GUIDE (Vinyl)

Mint (M): Never been played or item still sealed. As new.

Mint Minus (M-): In Brand New Condition with no surface Marks or deterioration in the sound quality. Labels should be clean and legible.

Excellent Plus (E+): The Vinyl is better than Excellent but not quite Mint Minus, possibly the odd feint sleeve removal marks or very light surface marks, possibly the odd tick or some very minor background noise but does not affect the quality of the Audio. Labels could have minor issues.

Excellent (E): Shows signs of being played, light surface marks (non-Feelable) or sleeve removal wisps, possibly some light ticks but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Labels should have only minor issues.

Very Good Plus (VG+): Has been well played, possibly some light clicks and low-level crackle due to surface marks and light scratches. Labels may be worn or have marks but nothing major.

Very Good (VG): Has been played many times, noticeable surface marks and light scratches that can have an adverse effect on the audio. Labels could have marks and wear.

Good Plus (G+): Sound quality has deteriorated. Some scratches and probably some more noticeable fellable scratches which cause clicks and pops but no skips or jumps. Labels could have noticeable marks and wear.

Good (GD): Sound quality has noticeable deterioration due to feelable and non-feelable scratches, possibly other marks. Labels could have serious marks and wear.

Fair (F): Still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise clicks and pops etc., possibly jumps and skips. These errors would be pointed out in my notes under condition.

Poor (P): Will not play properly due to scratches and marks, bad surface noise, clicks pops and jumps which will be pointed out in my notes under condition. Labels could be in poor condition.

GRADING GUIDE (Album Cover, Inner Sleeve and Extras)

Mint(M): No damage or flaws. As new Perfect

Near Mint or Mint Minus (M-): Looks close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and age, no damage to spine, artwork and extras such as posters as close to perfect as can be.

Excellent Plus (E+): Minor wear with a few minor creases, very slight discoloration, no major damage to spine or corners, no foxing, any extras or posters should be in good condition.

Excellent (E): Some impressions to the cover (minor outer ring wear), some slight creases to the corners. The corners can show white with slight wear. No seam splits or writing but could have very minor foxing and a few creases. Extras should be in good condition.

Very Good Plus (VG+): Cover may have minor foxing; artwork can show signs of ageing. Some minor wear to the seams or spine but no tares or holes. The corners could be slightly dogeared but no major damage to cover or extras.

Very Good (VG): Cover can look worn and used. There may be some seam splitting. There could be some ring wear where the Ink has begun to wear off, giving a faded look. There may be a degree of foxing and some creasing but no tape repairs or major damage. Extras could have issues but will be detailed in my notes under condition.

Good (G): The cover is complete with no tares but may have seam splits, could have some writing and can look very worn with possible foxing. Wear to corners and spine, possibly a few creases. Any extras could have damage, but this will be described in my notes under condition.

Poor (P): Generally, the condition of a poor cover and extras can have any number of faults, tares, tape repairs, creases, damaged corners, writing on the cover, foxing, water stains etc., but will be pointed out in my notes under condition.
