UK 1963 1st PRESS EP
This superb copy of thier 2nd EP is a UK 1st pressing dating from release in 1963 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8883
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label & both run-outs.
The disc is housed within the rarer front laminated, bi-flipback Buckland Press '(BuPr)' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 764-1N & 7TCE 765-1N
Stamper codes: 2,3/OO & 1,3/HP

Perfect - no spindle marks or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & bright & retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. Apart from a few harmless, light sleeve removal marks, the entire disc is free from any noticable surface marks or any scratches - even directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has clearly been barely played and all track are clean & unworn with just a hint of light background on 'Anna' but no clicks, pops or any other trace audible wear on or between any of these blistering tracks.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A strong & glossy example which bears just some minor age related blemishes on the rear panel and a tiny 3mm nick to the rear opening edge. Otherwise, this is an very respectable example of a hard to find cover variant.
