Up for grabs is this US issue original vinyl album by The Beatles. Entitled Magical Mystery Tour, it contains 11 tracks (see track listing below) and is housed in the original gatefold sleeve with a 24-page booklet. This is one of the copies which was officially imported into the UK by EMI; the cover has the original red and gold EMI/Gramophone Company Ltd sticker in the top right corner (see pic). On the rainbow rim Capitol label, this is the mono issue. The catalogue number is MAL-2835 and the date of issue is 1967. This copy was pressed at Capitol's Scranton pressing plant (see pressing details below).

Side 1 matrix: MAL?-1-2835-F9² ? containing the letters IAM
Side 2 matrix: MAL?-2-2835-F9 ? containing the letters IAM
Condition
The vinyl is in Very Good condition on Side 1 but only Good condition visually on Side 2 due to a noticeable mark at the end of the first track and across the second. However, this is completely inaudible although it doesn't look great
The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and just a few light spindle marks.
The gatefold cover is only in Good Plus condition as it has some edge, corner and surface wear and has begun to split by the opening edge at the top and bottom (see pics). There is some writing inside the gatefold (see pic). The red and gold EMI import sticker is nice and clear but has some scuffing and it looks like someone has picked at two of the corners (see pics). The spine is complete with clear printing but some wear. The booklet is intact and still attached to the cover but it is starting to come away at the staples where there are small tears on some pages (see pics). It also has a sellotape mark at the top on the first page.
All my vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system. Please check my GRADING GUIDE to see a description of each grade. If any item has any writing, stickers, sticker marks, tears etc these will always be mentioned along with the grading. All records are sent in custom-made mailers, with stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits.
