Description
The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour 1st Pressing, 1967, LA Labels, MONO, VG
Some light scratches which produce light pops in quiet sections such as Blue Jay Way, Fool On The Hill, Your Mother Should Know, and softer beginning of Strawberry Fields Forever, but NO SKIPS, and plays through well, play tested on Audio Technica turntable.
Cover in Very Good condition. Booklet inner pages have separated from album staples, but otherwise intact and all inner pages still stapled to one another. Some age wear on lower edge of pages, but nothing major. See photos for condition. In great condition for being a 56 year old album.
Monophonic and collectible. Bruce Spizer's Beatles book was used to authenticate that this is a Los Angeles pressing, with LA Labels.
That said, this is not near mint and is not being sold that way. Very good is my assessment, visually graded.
Near Mint monophonic MMTs have been priced out of range for many collectors (587.00 being the highest I've seen).
Included in price is a CD "Safe Copy" of the actual LP, with separate tracks and recorded from an Audio Technica turntable to a Sony CD burner. This will save wear and tear on this collectible LP. The CD is shown in the photos. It is not labeled with a Sharpie as this tends to "bleed" on laser readers, producing errors and digital audio artifacts.
Ships Media Mail, but will be additionally insured for full purchase price.
