THE BEATLES - 'CHRISTMAS TIME (IS HERE AGAIN)'
This 1-sided 33 1/3 rpm flexi-disc (Lyntone LYN 1360) was distributed to UK Fan-club members only in December 1967.
Written by the Beatles themselves, this the most entertaining of their Christmas messages took the form of a send-up of current radio & TV programmes with contributions from George Martin and Victor Spinetti. The highlight is the song 'Christmas Time is Here Again' which was recorded in just one take with John on Timpani, Paul on piano, George on acoustic guitar, Ringo on drums and double-tracked vocals by all four.
Housed in its Paul McCartney designed picture sleeve, complete with 'National Newsletter, Christmas 1967'.
