Description

Meet The Beatles was the first long player to be released at the beginning of 1964 from Capitol Records. This was truly the start of Beatlemania in America. The first US record was released a year prior called Introducing The Beatles on the Vee Jay label but didn’t get the same promotion or traction that Capitol provided.


This is a 1964 3rd variation according to Discogs website. It has 3 BMI song credits while the other 9 are ASCAP. This is a Scranton pressing with the infamous IAM triangle in the dead wax.


Condition of record is play graded excellent. Labels look quite nice without ugly spindle wear. Nice player copy with some light scuffs but holds up well with nice fidelity.

Some minimal spine wear with no seam splits, overall a handsome jacket.
