THE BEATLES - 'LOVE ME DO'/'P.S. I LOVE YOU'
This superb 1st pressing of their debut UK 45 dates from initial October 1962 release on the red/silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949
Both labels include the 'Made In Gt. Britain' text & a genuine 'Factory Sample' sticker is adhered to the 'Love Me Do' label.
A 'KMPZT' purchase tax code is stamped into both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper codes: 1/RR & 1/RG
N.B. 'Love Me Do' on this 45 features Ringo on drums and is a different version than the one on the 'Please, Please Me' LP.
Housed within an original 'beach-striped' Parlophone company sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean and free from any writing or missing paper, with a small number of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight, bearing only some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines beneath halogen light.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
Both songs on this well looked after copy play with a warmth and depth unique to this early pressing. This example received a minimal amount of play and my play-check detected no groove/playwear, crackle or any clicks, pops or ticks. In fact, apart from a hint of low-level vinyl background, there is little to fault on this keeper copy.
