Description
1st US press of Let It Be in gatefold sleeve. Side 1 label has the credit for Maggie Mae listed as PD (Public Domain) which indicates that this is a first press, later copies, from the mid 70s, showed all 4 Beatles.
The heavy duty cardboard gatefold sleeve is showing it's age - there is noticable shelfwear and it has a 3" split on one edge and a 2" split on another. There is also a very small hole top right (which I think they used to do for import albums).
The record itself still has a nice shine and to the naked eye just has the usual sleeve removal and finger marks you'd expect on a fifty year old disc. The last time I played it, which was some time ago, I noted that it had some crackle here and there but no skips or jumps. A good clean would probably improve it further.
The plain white inner has creasing, tears and small splits on each side.
