Description
The Beatles - Let It Be Red Apple 2U/3U Vinyl LP - very early pressing which plays beautifully! Transitional matrix numbers, between the 2U/2U boxed set first pressing and the 3U/3U pressing once the box set had been withdrawn, but with the first press red apple on the back cover.
The sleeve is in fantastic condition and features the red apple logo on the back. It retains its gloss, just has a little rubbing, mainly on the outline of the record. Spine is unworn and fully readable. No wear on edges/corners except a small area where the black has worn away in the middle of the bottom edge (probably caused by the weight of the record), and a tiny amount of wear where the black has come away on the bottom right corner. A name has been written on the inside opening edge.
The record has been professionally cleaned with my Okki Nokki. It plays without surface noise and no clicks, pops or scratches, apart from 1 or 2 clicks at the outer edge of side 2 well before track 1 starts. It has some very light hairlines (probably from removing the record from its sleeve) which do not affect play, plus on track 1 side 2 a slight amount of tracking and a very small non-sounding surface scuff. The labels are clean and just have a few light spindle marks.
I suspect the poly lined black inner sleeve may not be original.
