Description

An original 2nd Press of LIB on the UK Apple label from Xmas 1970. Matrix 2U/3U. Please note that early copies of LIB are identified by the specific font utilised on the labels which leads to the '1' of 'TWO OF US' falling immediately below the letters 'ID' of 'SIDE1'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse EXPORT cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition indeed and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we can make out a few light marks - nothing heavy. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. The audio quality is absolutely top notch and very clean. Interference, thankfully, is very minor and infrequent. The only relatively audible issue is a few ticks for the first 30 seconds of 'Dig A Pony'. Providing you can live with this aberration the rest of the LP will knock your socks off!
Cover (Ex/Ex+) A beautiful cover and you really need a well preserved copy in order to create that wow factor. The front and back are lovely and shiny with only a couple of minor creases. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies totally flat. This is one impressive looking specimen!
