Detailed Descriptions
The Sleeve: EX- Has some very mild ringwear to the front and back. There is a crease near the front opening and a little wear the front bottom corner. The spine is fully intact with all of the text clearly readable. There is no laminate lift anywhere.
Inner Sleeve: VG Has no seam splits or tears anywhere only a very small rip to the top. It is rare to find as nice as this copy as most copies are badly ripped, stained or torn this is not. There is some yellow spots to the bottom right corner. Overall this nice condition inner not tatty as lot of them tend to be.
The Labels: EX Only some spindle marks around the spindle areas otherwise both labels are NM.
Record Visually Graded: EX Strong excellent only some super light scuffing which you have to look for no scratches or other marks. Still has a lovely sheen to both sides. Graded under LED light!
Record Playback: EX+ Plays back beautifully only very slight crackle which will most likely disappear with a few plays. The Tone is still superb and is great listen. The record doesn’t have any warping my tonearm stayed level no ups and downs.
Please note that the record has been professionally cleaned on a record cleaning machine with a non alcohol cleaning solution.
I use the following grading system:
M=Mint: The record/sleeve is brand new condition. Just like when first pressed and the record will have no deterioration in sound quality. All items including lyric sheet poster etc are in perfect condition.
NM=Near Mint: The record or sleeve may just marginally be off new condition and have the odd minor flaw.
EX=Excellent: The record shows signs of being played, but there is hardly any lessening in sound quality. The cover might show signs of wear.
VG=Very Good: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Despite the odd occasional surface marks and the odd light scratch. The cover will shows signs of usage without any major defects.
G= Good: The record has been played numerous times and the sound quality has deteriorated and plays with distortion. The cover will have seam splits, scuffing of edges, discolouration and creases/ing.
F=Fair: The record has not been cared for properly and has loud surface noise but is still just playable. The sleeve will be torn, stained/defaced.
P=Poor: The record will not play properly due scratches and will have bad surface noise. The cover will be damaged and even have parts missing.
B=Bad: The record is unplayable possibly broken, which would only be considered as a collection filler.
I use a plus and minus signs +/- to show if marginally better or worse condition.
