Item: The Beatles – Let It Be Apple UK LP in stereo with a red Apple sleeve.
Matrix Numbers: Side 1: YEX 773 – 2U
Stamper Codes: 2 and GP
Side 2: YEX 774 – 2U
Stamper Codes: 2 and MO
Record Weight: 143g
Sleeve: Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve.
Inner Sleeve: Patent No with “Made in England” credit.
Labels: Dark Apple labels to both sides.
Detailed Descriptions
The Sleeve: G+ Has a 1 tear to the front opening which is the only major fault otherwise it’s a nice condition sleeve with light ringwear to the front and back and very slight laminate wear with some creases. The spine is readable with the first letter T missing on the word The. There is small split to the opening bottom right corner. There is also a very small tear to the rear middle on the left side barely noticeable. The sleeve still retains a nice sheen.
Inner Sleeve: G There is a 10cm side seam split and a 2cm seam split to the bottom no rips or tears.
The Labels: EX- Only some spindle marks around the spindle areas and one mark below the apple label and above the "broadcasting" text on side 1.
Record Visually Graded: G There are quite a few light scratches when held in strong light but nothing that can felt. There is a scratch on track one and 2 other scratches which cannot be felt. Side 2 has some scuff marks again of which nothing that can be felt. This is not a hammered copy just carefully graded to avoid any disappointment. The record still has a nice sheen.
Record Playback: EX+ There is very light click on Let It Be but you have to listen carefully for it. Superb playback with great tone and bass very enjoyable listen.
Please note that the record has been professionally cleaned on a record cleaning machine with a non alcohol cleaning solution.
I use the following grading system:
M=Mint: The record/sleeve is brand new condition. Just like when first pressed and the record will have no deterioration in sound quality. All items including lyric sheet poster etc are in perfect condition.
NM=Near Mint: The record or sleeve may just marginally be off new condition and have the odd minor flaw.
EX=Excellent: The record shows signs of being played, but there is hardly any lessening in sound quality. The cover might show signs of wear.
VG=Very Good: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Despite the odd occasional surface marks and the odd light scratch. The cover will shows signs of usage without any major defects.
G= Good: The record has been played numerous times and the sound quality has deteriorated and plays with distortion. The cover will have seam splits, scuffing of edges, discolouration and creases/ing.
F=Fair: The record has not been cared for properly and has loud surface noise but is still just playable. The sleeve will be torn, stained/defaced.
P=Poor: The record will not play properly due scratches and will have bad surface noise. The cover will be damaged and even have parts missing.
B=Bad: The record is unplayable possibly broken, which would only be considered as a collection filler.
I use a plus and minus signs +/- to show if marginally better or worse condition.

All records are removed from their sleeves and placed in a new polly lined inner sleeve then placed in a new plastic sealable sleeve for posting! I use cruciform mailers which are very strong.
