Item Description & Condition:

Released by Parlophone, UK on 5th October 1962 - this First Issue vinyl 45 is on the distinctive RED Parlophone Label with Silver Printed text, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd....’ label rim and With ‘Recording First Published 1962’, With ‘Ardmore & Beechwood Ltd’ publishing credits. There are two versions of this first issue Parlophone single, one version has Made in Gt Britain label text, this version is **WITHOUT** the ‘Made In Gt. Britain’ label text on both record labels.

Both record labels are in Excellent condition, there is NO fading to the Red background and NO fading to the clear Silver Printed Text, there are just a few centre spindle lines to both record labels. Record label side 2 has very faint initials RW.

Side 1stamped matrix is: 7XCE 17144-1N and Side 2: 7XCE-17145-1N.
Side 1 stampers: PZT1 GM. and Side 2: PZT1 M the embossed Tax Code letters P T are visible on the centre of the side one record label, dating this example from November 1962.

Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in absolutely immaculate flawless Mint Minus condition, both sides of the single are as new, beautiful, bright unworn vinyl surfaces to both sides.

Play Quality:

As expected both sides of this beautiful vinyl disc play with a fresh, clear sound quality throughout both tracks, without skips, clicks or pops and with none of the usual background noise the disc plays as good as it looks.

The Vinyl 45 comes in its original coloured Parlophone Company Sleeve, which is in very nice Excellent condition, showing just light creasing, there are NO seam splits, tears, or hand writing.

A beautiful example (with stunningly clean vinyl surfaces) of this UK Beatles debut single, now in it’s 53rd year since it’s first release back in 1962.
