THE BEATLES – 'LET IT BE'
This 1970 UK 1st pressing is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7096.
Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U (Earliest possible!)
Stamper Codes: 1 7 MH & 3 MH
Housed within its green apple, fully laminated non-flip back ‘Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.’ printed cover. The labels carry the early ‘chubby’ style font specific to first pressings – versus the later ‘thin’ style font. Complete with its original and correct company inner.
CONDITION:
Labels: NEAR MINT
A beautiful pair with deep colors and only a single well-aimed spindle trail to either label on completely unworn center holes.
Playing Surfaces, Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new'.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Spectacular audio from this barely played copy sounds magnificent. Just a touch of quiet static in between tracks.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & glossy example with a richly colored front panel bearing a hint of storage but no other wear. The rear panel has a trace of storage ring. All corners are free from significant damage. The opening edge is free from any wear or feathering. The spine does have a slight crease near the mid-point, but there is little else to suggest this cover is over 40 years old.
Inner: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no writing, seam splits, or tears.

Grading performed under strong daylight and a halogen desk lamp to UK ‘Record Collector’ standards. Play graded at volume, in its entirety on a properly set-up Rega deck with Shure cartridge. Care is taken to pack items for shipping. Discs are always removed and placed in replacement sleeves to prevent splitting to the originals.
