Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection. I grade very strictly, both play grading and visual grading are used, Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! The Beatles ‘Let It Be' UK Stereo EXPORT 1970 SINGLE EMI BOX PRESS
***EXTREMELY RARE MISPRINTED LABELS- TRUE ONE OFF EXAMPLE***
During 1970 EMI produced copies of the Beatles Apple label albums on Parlophone single EMI boxed label for export to small countries which did not have their own pressing plants and also due to the fact that the Beatles new Apple label was not registered/ recognised. This copy of Let it Be bears the single EMI box Parlophone BRITISH label used for these export issues with 'Made in Gt Britain' and ' The Gramophone co ltd' rim message, however in error it ALSO bears the layout and wording of the APPLE label for the IRISH first pressing displaying 'Made in the Rep of Ire' and also 'An Apple Record' to both sides all in the postion of where Apple label wording should be.
Also another major noticeable error is the positioning of the title in relation to the Parlophone logo is far too close- this positioning was only used on Apple label discs both UK and Ireland issue. The only number found in the entire two run out grooves (apart from the matrix numbers) is a solitary '7' to side two- with no EMI letters at all at 3 o'clock, perhaps also indicating a contract pressing which were frequently made of use for export issues!
(The position of the title ^ is too close to the Parlophone logo which on regular export/ parlophone issues is underneath the spindle hole, tone/ style of font on the inner track listing different to outer rim of this and other export/ single emi box issues aswell as layout)

Condition:
Outer Sleeve: A superb example with nice straight opening edges and a minumum of any other general wear. Excellent
Side One/ Side Two: Both sides are clean and free of any offending marks- under numerous light hairlines present however these have no impact on play which overall is solid and clean with relatively quiet run-in grooves/ imbetween songs and no distortion/ groove wear. Very Good Plus
Labels: Made of the same quality as the UK EMI single box issues of the late 60s and early 70s, these two rare label variants are in nice solid conditione with very light ring wear but no other problems. Just a couple of visable spindle trails to both. Excellent
Inner sleeve: Excellent Minus.
