The Beatles "Introducing The Beatles"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Vee Jay SR 1062  from 1964.    It's a Stereo pressing of the second issue of 'Introducing The Beatles'.    The disc plays the Version two songs : 'Ask Me Why' and 'Please, Please Me'.    The front cover has the 'Stereophonic' banner at the top and the songs in columns on the back cover.   The labels are black, with color band and VJ in brackets.   The word 'Stereo' is printed on the labels right above the VJ in brackets.    The record plays in true stereo.   ( there are no counterfeit discs that say 'stereo' on the label and actually play in stereo ).    The inner groove are is 7/8 inch.    And inside the cover the top and bottom flaps are 1/4 inch.

So, this is an original disc, in an original cover.    BUT, it is in poor condition.

The songs are : I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna, Chains, Boys, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret, A Taste Of Honey, There's A Place, and Twist And Shout.  

Overall Condition is : Cover is G+ /  Record is G+

The cover is G+.   The front has erased writing, mustaches, and beards.     The back cover has scribbled lines before most of the songs.    There is an eleven by one inch cover tear along the bottom of the back cover.       The vinyl looks G- and it plays G+.    The vinyl has scuffs, and light scratches, and fingerprints all over it.    BUT, it plays through with no skips.      It plays better than it looks and you can hear the stereo seperation.   The labels are have lots spindle marks and center wear.  The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
