For sale is The Beatles' Introducing the Beatles, originally released in 1964 by Vee-Jay Records and later released as a stereo "version". It resembles the original with a cover having a comma between the title of Please, Please Me, but the front cover is slightly off-set on the left hand side. The Vee-Jay logo runs over the spine and into the back cover. The label has the color-band around the outside and the Vee-Jay logo between two brackets. Still, many people still call these records counterfeit. In the dead wax between the label and the last tracks are the etchings "2/11-64" on side one and "2-6-64" along with "ARC 3-25-4". I bought this new, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17, then immediately put the record into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as VG+ because of ring wear, edge rubs and corner blunts. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of faint sleeve marks and a slight warp. It's play-graded as Excellent only because of one pop between song one and song two on the second song. This is in the dead wax, not during a song. The rest of the record is Near Mint. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have more Rock and Roll records, as well as albums of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're mostly Near Mint.
