THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' HITS'
This pristine 4-track EP is a UK 1st pressing dating from September 1963 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8880

Both labels carry 'The Parlophone Co...' rim texts and interestingly have different fonts & layouts.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label & in side 1 run out, with 'KMT' on side 2.

Matrix numbers: 7TCE 760-2N & 7TCE 761-1N

Stamper codes: 1/HG & 1,4/GDG

The disc is housed within a front laminated rounded flipback, scarcer 'Buckland Press' ('BuPr') printed picture cover.

This superb mismatched set is clean & unworn set with just two or three light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine, deep-gloss & unworn playing surfaces which bear only a small handful of harmless wispy hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp, consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its cover, but no scuffs, marks or any other visual defects.

Sound Quality: MINT

This well looked after disc has received just a a couple of carefully plays and as a result, the sound quality is flawless throughout. My single careful playcheck at volume found no evidence of any groove/playwear or a single clicks, pop, ticks or any other audible distraction whatsoever.

Cover: NEAR MINT

Carefully stored these past 49 years in a clean, non-smoking environment, this cover looks as if it could have left the shops yesterday, let alone 49 years ago. The unscratched, high-gloss front panel is totally free from any storage rubbing/wear to any part. In fact, apart from a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkle, it is flawless. All corners are sharp and unworn, as as both opening edges. The exposed rear panel is in immaculate, unblemished condition.
