Description
THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' HITS'
This superb 1963 UK pressing of their second released 4-track EP release is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: GEP 8880
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have upper case 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs only.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 760-2N & 7TCE 761-1N
Stamper codes: 1,7/GMG & 1,2/GAL
The disc is housed within its original front laminated, bi-flipback 'Buckland Press' printed picture cover.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unblemished set with a handful of well-aimed light spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole but just one or two on the other indicating just a few careful plays.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surface which are free from any noticeable surface marks or wear in strong daylight, revealing just some harmless wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
Played only a few times of good equipment, the sound quality is clean and unworn with no trace of any groove/play wear distortion on any track. Even the bands between tracks play without any clicks, crackle or other such audible distraction.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An exceptionally clean & unworn example which retains an immaculate high-gloss front laminate bearing just a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkle, but no their traces of its 49 years. All corners and both opening edges are completely sharp & unworn and all seams are smooth and unstressed. The exposed rear panel is pristine with not a single mark or blemish or any kind.
