Export copy of The Beatles Hey Jude vinyl LP
Rarer 2nd pressing ( from between 1971 and 1973) with a lighter green label with a large copyright (P).
The matrix numbers are YEEX 150-1 and YEEX 151-1
The laminated cover is in good plus to, more likely, very good condition - there’s some minor ringwear and creasing and a little rubbing on the spine and corners. The spine is fully readable, as is the top edge which duplicates the writing on the spine.
To the naked eye the record itself appears to be in excellent condition - it still has a lovely shine with only the usual very light marks to be seen (there was the odd what looked like finger marks too that a clean would probably remove). The labels are nice and clean and you'll see that there's minimal spindle wear. The last time I played it, which was some time ago, I noted that there was some feint crackle here and there but it played through great with no skips, sticks or jumps. A proper clean would probably improve it further.
It comes with a white EMI inner with blue, not black, writing. This has creasing and a small (1cm) split at the bottom.
