Rare 1970 US First Pressing with "The Beatles Again" on labels!
This is the highly sought-after Scranton pressing of the "Hey Jude" compilation. It features the original intended title "The Beatles Again" on both Side 1 and Side 2 labels, which was changed to "Hey Jude" shortly after the initial production run.
Matrix / Runout Details:
Side 1: SO-1-385-Z11 (or your specific etchings)
Side 2: SO-2-385-Z31 [Triangle Symbol]
Pressing Plant: Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Scranton, PA (indicated by the IAM triangle stamp).
Condition Report:
Vinyl (Visual Grade): VG+ (Very Good Plus). The vinyl retains a strong original glossy luster. Very few light surface hairlines/paper scuffs that do not affect play. Labels are clean with minimal spindle wear.
Sleeve (Cover): VG (Very Good). Shows some shelf wear, edge wear, and corner dings consistent with age. No major splits or tears. (Please see photos for details).
