Description
This is a rarity. A very early Portuguese pressing in stereo of the Help! album. The sleeve is in less than Fair shape and has been sellotaped across a tear on the back and along the spine. The side opening has disintegrates a bit. I have placed the album in a plastic cover to protect it from further damage. The inner sleeve has also been sellotaped along the sides and bottom where the record has torn through. The inner sleeve advertises a variety of mid 1960's LP's and is different to the Emitex inner sleeve with the UK pressing. Pictures of this album are featured on the discogs website.
The vinyl is in VG+ condition overall with some surface sleeve marls. The stereo sound is fantastic. It is a much more subtle stereo mix than the early UK stereo mix. Plays well throughout with little surface noise or static. Only place where there is a regular pop is on side two between B6 and B7, and I have shown the scratch that causes this on the final photograph. There are no jumps or skips on the album, which I have played using both an AT95E and a Rega Carbon, and the music plays clear and loud.
