THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This superb sounding UK STEREO pressing of their 1965 album dates from 1968 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071
This 1968 pressing has an asterisk before 'I Need You' on the side 1 label which was positioned after that title on the 1965 pressing
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rims
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper codes: 1/MP & 2/MD
Vinyl weight: 143g
Housed in front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover without a stereo logo & red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve

A bright & clean set with a small collection of light trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate unworn playing surfaces which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine showing no noticeable surface marks strong daylight. Even closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a few wispy paper hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding copy has received just a few extremely careful plays on top-quality equipment. My single careful play-check at volume found absolutely no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion, background interference or even a single click, pop or any other audible distraction. No need to upgrade this for sound.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A 1st class example of this easily blemished cover which has been stored in a clean, non-smoking environment all its life. The pristine white front panel bears just a single 'thumbnail' along with a handful of spine wrinkles but no other traces of wear. All corners are sharp & unworn and both opening edges appear untouched. The rear panel is pristine white and in 'shop-new' condition.
Both seam are smooth & unstressed and the spine is fully laminated & worded.
