Labels: EXCELLENT +
A 1st-class pair with just a small number of light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole but only two or three on side 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are completely free from any scuffs, marks or any form of surface wear in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just some barely visible wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its original inner-sleeve. Both sides of this impressive copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This wonderful warm and clear sounding copy has received minimal play on good quality equipment and plays superbly throughout with no significant or major audible issues. In fact every track is free from any clicks, pops, background interference or any other such distractions and if it were not for a touch of light background on 'Ticket To Ride', I would have graded NEAR MINT.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An exceptionally clean and more importantly white example which has been carefully stored in a non-smoking environment these past 46 years. The front panel is perfectly clean & unblemished with just a three or four faint 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front opening edge and a hint of storage rubbing to the laminate, but no heavy creases or other such wear. All corners are in great shape and free from any heavy bumps or bruising. Both opening edges are clean and straight with just a hint of light wear but no tears or feathering. The easily marked rear panel is in superb condition and totally free from any marks, let alone any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are perfectly clean and fully intact and both seams and the fully worded spine are clean, undamaged and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with just an light, unavoidable disc impression but no creasing or any writing, tears or seam splits.
