Labels: EXCELLENT +
A bright & unworn set with small collection of light, well-aimed light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are totally unmarked in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal, but no other trace of wear whatsoever. Both sides of this cherished copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
This flawless sounding copy has received just a few careful plays on top-quality equipment and as a result, all tracks play cleanly & clearly without any trace of groove/playwear - even on the most easily worn innermost tracks. Both run-ins and all bands play silently and even the delicate 'Yesterday' is free from any background crackle or interference. You will struggle to find a better sounding copy of this pressing.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A 1st-class unblemished and most importantly, white example has been carefully stored in a clean, non-smoking environment all its life. The striking front panel retains an unscratched, unworn high-gloss front panel bearing just a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkle on Ringo, but little else to suggest its 48 years. There is some light shelfwear bruising to three corners but there is no damage or wear to either of the opening edges. The exposed rear panel is clean, white & completely unblemished with unworn and fully intact flipbacks.
Both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit and the spine is fully laminated, unbent and perfectly worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with a few gentle storage bends, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
