THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This amazing time-capsule example was purchased in 1965 from a shop called 'The Record Centre' which was located at 129-133 Bridge Street in Warrington, Cheshire - around 50 miles from Liverpool.
Upon arriving home from 'The Record Centre', the purchaser of this LP chose not to immediately discard the shop's paper bag and kept the LP inside it for the next 51 years. As a result, the LP appears here in virtually the same condition it left the shop over half a century ago.
You will see many Beatles LPs on Ebay listed as 'NEAR MINT' but I think you will agree that this example is truly deserving of that grade.

This exquisite UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial August 1965 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text, with a 'KT' purchase tax code on the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 5/RGT & 2,9/RMA
Vinyl weight: 153g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Together with the original paper bag from 'The Record Centre' in Warrington, England.

A clean & bright set with a small number of light spindle trails around each cnetre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy with the only noticeable visual blemish being a single 1.5cm fingernail scuff on side 2. Closer examination beneath halogen light reveals some harmless wispy paper hairlines from the few times the disc has been removed from its inner-sleeve, but no further signs of wear.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This disc has received a small amount of careful play on good equipment and all tracks are free from any crackle or noticeable groovewear. Apart from some regular low-level vinyl background between tracks, there really is nothing to fault here.
Cover: NEAR MINT
This beautiful example is as clean & white as when it left the store.
The front panel laminate retains a perfect factory high-gloss finish where the only blemishes are two tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles.
The two small, faint spots towards the front lower right corner are beneath the laminate.
There is a minute bruise to the upper right corner but all others and both opening edges are 'as new'.
The rear panel is clean & white with the two or three tiny marks that are present, appearing to be in the card material itself.
All flipbacks are in perfect condition.
Both seams are smooth, unstressed and unsplit & the spine is super-clean with just a single faint wrinkle.
This 51 year old gem would be impossible to upgrade.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Crisp & unworn with just a single age-spot on one side but no writing, tear or seam splits.
