THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This barely played UK 1st MONO pressing dates from August 1965 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text and have 'The Gramophone Co...' rim texts
A genuine EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label
Earliest matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 4/MDD & 5/ALG
Vinyl weight: 142g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve

A clean, unworn pair showing no more than 2/3 small spindle trails around each unworn centre hole
Visual: EXCELLENT
Exceptionally clean & unworn playing surface which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. Apart from a single 4cm surface mark on side 2, both sides are unmarked in strong daylight with no additional visual blemishes or wear beneath halogen light. Without the mark, I would have graded this NEAR MINT
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This barely played disc sounds clean & clear throughout with no trace of groove/playwear distortion or background crackle which blights so many copies of this pressing. The aforementioned mark produces an occasional soft pop but during the first 3 tracks of side 2, but my playcheck found no other noticeable audible distractions elsewhere
Cover: NEAR MINT
A 1st-class example of this easily blemished cover which bears a naturally off-white front panel which retains an unscratched and unworn high-gloss laminate free from any thumbnail' wrinkles or any other noticeable wear. All corners are sharp, square & unbumped and both opening edges are free from any tears or feathering
The exposed rear panel is ultra-clean & unblemished
All flipbacks & both seams are unworn and the spine is in perfect condition
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
