The Beatles  "Help"

This is the US Stereo vinyl pressing on Capitol SMAS-2386  from 1965.    This is the Original Soundtrack of their second movie.      It was #1 on Billboard for nine weeks, starting on 9/11/65.     Half of the songs are instrumentals by The George Martin Orchestra.

I'll do my best to describe it's label and cover variations.   The labels are black with color band around the edge.     It does not have 'Subsidary' in the rim print.       It has the 3rd label variation that lists Ken Thorne as writer of the last track on each side and does list 'You Can't Do That' on side two.         The matrix numbers are machine stamped : side one : SM  1-2386-A I ( this is Roman numeral one)   ( tiny ) #2    and side two : SM  2-2386-A3  ( tiny ) #2.     I believe it is a Scranton pressing.    It has a Capitol Records inner sleeve with tan background.

The songs are : Help, The Night Before, From Me To You Fantasy ( instrumental ), You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, I Need You, In The Tyrol (instrumental ), Another Girl, Another Hard Days' Night ( instrumental ), Ticket To Ride, The Bitter End and You Can't Do That ( instrumentals ), You're Going To Lose That Girl ( as spelled on the label, but  'You're Gonna Lose That Girl' as spelled on the cover ) , and The Chase ( instrumental ). 

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is M-

The gatefold cover is VG+ with no seam splits.   There is light overall front cover wear and there is a tiny name written on the back cover at bottom right.     The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint minus, with very slight sounds between songs.    It looks like it's never been played !!    ( There are two pictures showing how glossy and perfect the vinyl surface is )     The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.

This copy is too good to take to a record show and have people handle.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 13 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 29 ounces ( 1 pound, 13 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
