Description
THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This immaculate UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial August 1965 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels have the 'Sold In UK..' text and there is a 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper codes: 2/OA & 2/AL
Vinyl weight: 147g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover, still encased within its original shrink.
It also comes with its original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair bearing just two faint light spindle trails around each totally unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate clean & unworn playing surfaces bearing only some faint wispy marks from inner-sleeve removal side 2, but nothing I would call a scratch on this archive copy.
Sound Quality: MINT
This copy has clearly been played just once or twice at most. Consequently the sound quality is 'as new' and all tracks play flawlessly without any trace of groove wear or crackle. My play-check detected just trace of regular low-level vinyl background between tracks, but no clicks, pops or any other audible distraction of any kind.
Cover: NEAR MINT
This remarkable 'time-capsule', shrink-wrapped example would be hard to upgrade.
The front panel beneath the shrink is glossy and 'as new' with just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle between Paul & Ringo.
There is some minor bruising to corners but both opening edges are razor sharp and appear untouched.
The rear panel is immaculate and is in the same condition as when it left the factory 50 years ago.
The shrink is fully intact all-round but I could not remove as it has adhered itself to the edges of the rear flipbacks.
Both seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
