I purchased this album in the secondary market advertised as excellent and following my own appraisal I agree with this. Following a light cleaning I played the album through the Grado’s and the sound was well within the excellent category. Under bright light I could see a couple of faint hairline marks on the vinyl on both sides and within the track 'Yesterday' is a small mark (I think it was a little needle drag) that I heard during the play (mark takes up about half of the track and is within the middle of the track itself). Although the album did play through this issues without a skip I heard a light tick with each revolution. This all having been said based on the overall play through and aforementioned issues numerically I score this vinyl an 88, like a solid B+. As for the cover, I will score it excellent as well with a numerical rating of 88 (I’m resisting the temptation to score this an A-/near mint but I’ll err on the side of caution. It’s really close). Within the top seam there is a separation (above the letters STER in the word MASTER. Within the front cover are 3 creases (all about 1”) with two running from the bottom of the jacket and the other running from the left seam. Also there is a very small bump (between Paul and Ringo) on the bottom seam. There is also very light corner wear, most noticeably on the top right corner. When looking at the cover from behind there are also a few faint creases (one coming from the bottom and a couple from the right seam). Overall, the condition is well within the excellent category. Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard but with the vinyl outside of the jacket inside of a Whiplash record mailer.
