Description
This is a brand new, sealed copy of The Beatles' LP "Help!" in Mono and On Red Vinyl. It is Japanese pressing on EMI/Odeon EAS 70134 from the 1980's This is an audiophile disc.
I bought this in the 1980's. Back then a company called YSL Records imported vinyl from various countries and brought them into the U.S. YSL would place the LP's into a heavy, clear plastic outer wrap with their YSL logo and then just tape the outer wrap closed. That is the condition of this copy. It is still taped closed. I never got around to playing it, so it is totally Mint!
I remember buying this and the Japanese "Please Please Me" LP Mono on red vinyl back in the '80's. I played the "Please Please Me" LP once, only once. I never opened and played the "Help!" LP.
The familiar songs on these LP's should have that extra "punch" because they are in Mono and because they are specially pressed Japanese LP's!
It is widely known that when the Beatles were finished recording an LP, they hung around while the LP was being mastered in Mono, and made suggestions if they felt they were needed. They left the regular studio engineers do the stereo version. So, here is a magnificent pressing of "Please Please Me" as The Beatles wanted it to sound- in Mono. Plus the red vinyl will look awesome on the turntable as an extra bonus.
