Description

  • Matrix / Runout (Side A; Variant 3): YEX 168-1 A 2
  • Matrix / Runout (Side B; Variant 3): YEX 169-1 GH 2

Black label with yellow logo and silver print. Second label with Sans Serif typeface (first was Times New Roman with bold STEREO by Parlophone logo). “Sold in U.K. ..." printed on label. 

Side A label has an asterisk (credit indicator) printed to the right of “I Need You”. The very first pressings had this printed on the left.

“The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed in label rim text. 

Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. KT tax code embossed on Side 1.

Front laminated flipback cover, with outline “stereo” on front cover.

Condition 
Sleeve (VG+): The sleeve is in very good condition with light discolouration to the front. The rear panel still holds its original bright white colour. There is some minor damage to the flipback to the top right. 
Record (EX): Other than a few light hairlines to side 1, the record is in lovely condition. Both labels are very clean with only a few light spindle marks. 
Inner (VG-): Original Emitex inner in good condition with no seam splits.
