Description
This is the original (more difficult to obtain) first pressing of the UK 7" Exteneded Player "A Hard Days Night" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label catalogue number GEP 8924. These original Extended Players are tricky to obtain in decent condition but this one is in a remarkable MINT condition.
Matrix numbers side 1, 7TCE 850-1N, side 2, 7TCE 851-1N. Stampers side 1 @ 9 oclock, KT 1, @ 3 oclock GH, side 2, @ 9 oclock K 2, @ 3 oclock RP.
The labels have "The Parlophone Company" rim and "Sold In UK text". Labels are bright and clear and have no damage of any kind. I can see NO SPINDLE lines on either side.
The vinyl retains a beautiful shine on both sides and there are a couple of very light sleeve removal lines on side 1. There is no other signs of any blemishes and NO SCRATCHES, NO SCUFFS and NO OTHER SURFACE MARKS.
The outer sleeve is FANTASTIC condition. The laminated front remains beautifully preserved and clean displaying only very minor ring marking. The unlaminated rear of the sleeve is also beautifully white and clean with no writing, stains and only light ring marking. There are a couple of light corner dinks. All in all this is probably the best condition you will get.
This is an outstanding item that has survived remarkably well for 52 years. How time flies.
A beautiful example of a very collectable piece
