THE BEATLES: ‘HELP’ – A 1969 UK PARLOPHONE ONE EMI BOX LOGO 12” STEREO VINYL LP – PCS 3071

SCARCE BLACK AND SILVER PARLOPHONE LABEL, IMMEDIATELY REPLACED THE BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE LABEL IN 1969, NICE EXAMPLE

In 1969, for the FIRST TIME since 1963, PARLOPHONE/EMI re-designed their record labels with a ONE EMI BOX Logo Black & Silver Parlophone Label. This one box logo is printed to the bottom portion of the record label on both sides.

The album was issued on ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, encircled ‘P’ date 1965, and ‘Made in Gt Britain’ together with the ONE EMI Box to the bottom of the label. (Please note that the Vinyl weight is the same quality as the earlier 1965 release. In addition, the machine stamped matrix numbers are the same as the original 1965 version.

Both record labels are in Near Mint condition, showing only a couple of light centre spindle lines to side 2, there are no spindle lines on the side one label.

Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are also in beautiful Mint Minus condition – clean and bright undamaged Vinyl surfaces.

Side 1 Matrix is: YEX 168-1 and side 2: YEX 169-1.
Side 1 stampers: 3 PP and Side 2: 3 PT.

The album plays SUPERBLY through ALL the tracks.

The Vinyl LP comes in an EMI advertising Made in Gt Britain record bag which is in UNDAMAGED Excellent condition, NO seam splits or tearing, just light creasing.

….And is housed in its original, laminated Garrod and Lofthouse Picture Sleeve with three flip backs to the reverse, with the same artwork and style as the original 1965 release.

The Original Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated Gatefold Sleeve is in very nice Excellent condition, a clean sleeve, showing very mild record indentation. The reverse panel of the sleeve is undamaged showing light handling to the gate edge, all edges are free from any splits, and the spine edge wording is legible.

A very nice example of this 1969 EMI/Parlophone UK Release, with the one box EMI label format!
