THE BEATLES - 'FROM THEN TO YOU'
Otherwise known as 'The Christmas Album', this LP collects all of The Beatles' Christmas messages from 1963 to 1969 onto one disc.
The album was pressed by the Lyntone, the same company who pressed the original flexi-discs using supplied Apple labels.
Side 1 contains messages from 1963, 1964, 1965 & 1966. Side 2 has 1967, 1968 & 1969.
Matrices: LYN XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N
Earliest stamper codes: 1/G & 1/G
Vinyl weight: 167g
Housed in a front laminated 'West Brothers' printed cover, complete with its original plain white 'Patent No..' die-cut inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are intact with the usual rough patches which are a feature from pressing and some age-related spotting on label 2.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both sides of this heavy disc are clean, glossy and unmarked in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath halogen light reveals only a few wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Audio: MINT -
This copy appears to have had very little, if any play. The album used dubs of Fan Club Freda Kelly's flexis so some inherent flexi-disc background is present in places. However, there is no audible wear or issues with the LP vinyl itself. You won't find a better looking or sounding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & white where it should be with a bright, high-gloss front panel bearing only a few light creases to the upper right corner and a couple of spine wrinkles. The corners are in decent shape and both opening edges are unworn. The rear panel has a faint disc impression from storage but is otherwise clean & unblemished. Both seams and the unworded spine are smooth & unsplit.
