If you are not 100% knowlegeable about this LP, please DO NOT BID. This is the more common first version with the "Jolly What!" subtitle and portrait of a British Statesman wearing a Beatle wig. The LP was released February 26, 1964, 46 days after Meet The Beatles. It was issued in both mono and stereo with three different label styles- black label w/colorband and oval logo; with colorband and brackets label; and an all-black label with silver print. Counterfeits of the LP first appeared in the late 1970s, and can easily be identified by their lack of any spine writing, and a black background instead of dark blue or purple like the originalsTHIS IS NOT A BOOTLEG OR COUNTERFIT

We have obtained a huge record collection of original U.S. and import vinyl LPs. This collection goes back almost 50 years in time and in most cases the LPs are still new and UNPLAYED. Please see our OTHER ITEMS for sale because it may be sometime before you find these LPs in this condition again.
This LP has been stored for all these years since 1964 in plastic and I'm told was only played once to record. Its is the RARE STEREO version with an absolut mint cover Front & Back . Label is very clean with no spindle marks .
Its trail off areas include the following hand etched markings: the matrix number 64-3852S on
SIDE 1 and 64-3853S on SIDE 2; the job number 6298 on SIDE 1 and 6298X on SIDE 2;
and the date 1-21-64 on SIDE 1 and 1-26-64 on SIDE 2;
