Description

This is the original first Mono pressing of the album "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label catalogue number PMC 7027. These early Parlophone copies are hard to come by in decent condition and this copy would be hard to beat. Matrix numbers are: Side 1,  XEX- 637-1, Side 2,  XEX 638-1 Stampers:  Side 1,  9 O clock 5,  3 O clock LL,   Side 2,  9 O clock 3,  G O clock  GMT
The labels have "The Gramophone Company" rim and "Sold in UK".
The vinyl retains a beautiful shine on both sides and neither side displays any scratches, scuffs and only light sleeve removal lines. The vinyl surfaces retain their original gleam. The labels remain bright and have only light spindle marks.
The record is housed in the original fool inner that has no splits or other damage. The sleeve remains very clean. The outer Ernest J Day sleeve is in great shape with only minor edge creasing and a little light laminate lift on the spine. The rear of the sleeve remains very clean with only light creasing to the rear bottom edge.
An outstanding example of a very collectable piece
