Description

This is rare bit of vinyl ! I can tell you that the source tapes are excellent in presence and sourced very well. Some of the songs are very interesting alternate mixes beeps and sound effects really pop ! That being said some of the songs presented here never made it onto a Beatles album until well beyond the breakup of the group . The sourcing of the tapes of these songs LS Bumble Bee /What A Shame Mary Jane Had A Pain /Peace Of Mind / You Know My Name is actually amazing as this was released well before some (not all) of these songs appeared on Anthology Lp Sets . They are in many cases presented here with a Brighter Mix (not being afraid of tape hiss or acetate noise) This was one of my favorite Beatles LPs for some time and did get played quite a bit .   The Pressing was always a bit brighter in mix than the Capitol releases of most of these songs , but not lacking in the bass area either . This (as well as several plays of this super cool pressing ) will present it with surface noise on songs with ambient sections like Blue Jay Way ) . Some of the songs seem to actually be pressed from Acetate source as I have never heard them quite like this , and some may have been remixed from other amazing sources .    You will get lost in the sound BECAUSE  of it's amazing presence , NOT because the LP is devoid of background or surface noise ! It's Not ! Most of the songs on the LP have a cool rough mix , but essential feel to them (but not from poor sources) . the sound is not impersonal Nor cordial  but I guarantee you'll find the sound extremely engaging at the least ! Despite some surface noise here and there ! VINYL: VG minus  ( great sources/played/still sounds great/surface noise present) COVER: VG This is near the bottom of the list in grading ( Collectables Only should be sold  with less than VG rating) LS Bumble Bee is a Psychedelic Trip I've never seen on any other LP ,But the whole LP is an experience.  GOLDMINE GRADING CHART : Mint = Sealed & Perfect  NM = Open or open and played once or twice VG++= Open/ played very few visible/ audiable signs  VG+ = Very Nice Copy a few minor defects , generally not affecting play  VG = Nice in many ways with multiple defects  VG minus = Collectable with defects which could include skips, surface noise  Good = (If not collectable forget about it) MAJOR defects but, yet intact Good Minus = great gag gift Poor = No intrinsic value , but may be of interest to you as a novelty
