THE RECORDS & SLEEVE COVERS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.WITH THE RECORDS SHOWING HARDLY ANY PLAY.
THE BODY OF THE BOX IS IN GOOD SOLID CONDITION & SHAPE HOWEVER THE LID ITSELF IS IN TIRED & POOR CONDITION AND A LITTLE FLIMSY WITH THE 'FRONT SECTION BIZARRELY MISSING' (PLEASE SEE PICTURES) NO BOOKLET OR GUARANTEE PAPERWORK WITH THIS SET.
THIS WOULD BE IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WITH A DECENT BOX TO REPLACE THE EXCELLENT VINYL FROM THIS SET WITH THEIR OWN!
During the autumn of 1977, EMI's mail order subsidiary, World Records, released a new boxed set entitled The Beatles Collection, of the 24 singles from Love Me Do to Back In The USSR, available by mail order only, and not through the usual retail outlets. The 24 singles were in the same green sleeves as the March 1976 re-releases, and packaged in a special gold embossed box. Unlike the later album, EP and singles collections in the blue boxes, The Beatles Collection does not have a special catalogue number. It was deleted from the World Records catalogue in 1981.
