Description

THE BEATLES COLLECTION.    
THE BEATLES SINGLES 1962 - 1970.   No catalogue number.
WORLD RECORDS 24 x 7 inch singles.  +  demonstration flexi. 
During Autumn of 1977 EMI'S mail order subsidary "World Records" released this box set and it was available by mail order only. Deleted from "World Records" catalogue in 1981.   
Black box set with The "Beatles Collection"  embossed in gold on front.  "The Beatles"  in gold on either side of box and top of lid.  
Box contains all 24 Beatles singles in picture sleeves and a flexi  sampler disc. Also contains  fold out World Records booklet.  A sheet showing all 24 singles titles A and B sides. Catalogue numbers and release dates. Also a 4 page sheet  " A very special invitation from World Records. "  Paul Richards.
All the singles sleeves have been numbered neatly on each top left corner. All sleeves are in very good to near mint condition.  A couple have minor marks numbers 11 and 14.  Number 19 has an edge crease.
All photographs of actual item for sale.
Majority of discs are in excellent to near mint condition.(visual) Many  show no signs of play and look mint  / near mint. Most do not show any spindle trace marks. All labels on the records are clean like new.
Known visual issues on records inspected in strong light.
number 5 on "This Boy" side has non feelable scratch visible in strong light. Spindle traces both sides of number 14. Strawberry  Fields / Penny Lane. Scratch across number 16. "I am the Walrus" side. Number 21 "Something / Come Together.  Both sides have vinyl imperfection lump which is feelable. Will probably affect playback. ( could be replaced).
Outer box is in very good / near excellent condition.  Some wear to lid hinge.  (design issue fault) left and right side wear  where the lid closes on the box. Otherwise a solid minimal wear box.
Flexi sampler for the singles box set.  SFI 291. 1 sided demonstration disc.  In excellent visual condition.
In all very nice collectors set of Beatles singles and demo flexi. All known issues described in listing.
Will be sent tracked / insured. Overseas via GSP.
