The Beatles Collection 13 LP box set. UK pressing from 1978. This box set includes all their studio LP's from 'Please Please Me' to Let It Be' and a 17 track 'Rarities' LP. All LP's are in their original UK sleeves with all inserts for 'Sgt Pepper' and 'The White Album'. The albums come in a textured flip top box with gold embossed facsimile signatures and titles. Also included is a 32" x 22" colour poster showing John Kelley's portraits. This box set belonged to my late brother who passed in 1985 and his widow has only just found it for me to sell. I've played all the albums once and consider them to be either mint or near mint.There is however some damage to the box (see photos),it would seem that some thing has dripped onto the top and run down the back of. I have tried to clean it up but did not want to do more damage to it as it is slightly sticky. The top of the flip top also has some damage where it is slightly torn. The insert poster does show some signs of 'foxing' on the reverse side. The four individual portraits from 'The White Album' have identical damage in the bottom right corner where they have been creased. I have started the auction at such a high price as the p&p takes up about a third of that initial bid. Thank you for reading this,and if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them.
