I received this as a holiday gift in 1979. This was the first Japanese Complete Beatles Collection LP import , limited to 10,000

This Japanese Import Vinyl Beatles Collection boxed set contains the classic 12 albums as well as the Beatles Rarities album . Produced by EMI Japan - stereo , with Apple record labels .

Each album comes with dual language lyric sheets ( Japanese/English ) and some also include separate posters .
The inner sleeves for each record are very fragile - I remember being told they were made out of rice paper but don't know if that's true . Most of them are pristine but a couple have small tears
This sat on my shelf for nearly ten years , untouched . In the late 80's , I removed a couple of the albums to play them once for a DAT recording - remember DAT ?
As such most of these albums have never been played and the couple that were recorded to DAT were only played once .
As you can see this comes complete with both the original outer plastic wrapper and the original Japanese box top paper sleeve .
The plastic wrapper is wrinkly and faded as you might expect from sitting on a shelf for nearly 40 years .
The boxed set itself , from the outer box , the original Japanese box top paper sleeve to the albums themselves are all in near mint condition .
